HEALTHY STRIDES
The Ken-Ton Chamber of Commerce
and Univera HealthCare are proud to
once again sponsor the Healthy Strides
program. The kick off will take place at
Showcase, on May 2 (11am-6pm) and
May 3 (11am-4pm) at Lincoln Park Arena
, 1200 Parker Blvd., Tonawanda.
Visit the Healthy Strides booth, pick up
a program schedule and a punch card
and pledge to start making Healthy
Strides! There are a variety of programs
available for the mind, body and spirit,
for all fitness levels and every age group
including; walking clubs, smoking
cessation, weight loss/nutrition, stress
management, dancing and more.
Simply complete 12 activities from the offered programs and turn in your
punch card before the closing ceremony to be held at Lincoln Arena on
Saturday, June 13, 2009 where we will draw for over $1000 in cash &
prizes, including a Nintendo Wii.
Additionally, the company or organization who has the most
participants turn in a punch card, reflecting a minimum of 6
punches, will win an AED Unit (Automated External Defibrillator)
compliments of Univera HealthCare. These units, plus accessories,
retail for $2500. Please note the winner must also demonstrate a
legitimate need for an AED unit.
Even local restaurants are participating. Those choosing a Healthy
Strides menu item can also be entered to win. Check out this
